Project Overview

We went into this project with the client wanting a complete refurbishment as well as an extension to the back of the property. We felt very comfortable with this client as they were very open to our suggestions, and were totally collaborative and wanted to work together with us to make sure the final product was exactly what they envisioned. 

We wanted to make sure that the space was a bright, open and welcoming space where the client would feel comfortable and be able to entertain guests in style. We put in floor-to-ceiling windows that let in a huge amount of light and opened onto the garden. 

The client wanted to make sure that there was plenty of space for both adults and children, as they have a young family, and we obliged by making sure to have almost separate areas in the home. 

All in all, the project took approximately nine months to complete, as we had to completely strip back and rebuild the interior of the original home, as well as constructing the new rear extension. 

There were some problems with the project, as there always is with one of this scale, but together, working with the architect, and the clients, we pushed past any issues that arose and made sure that the finish was immaculate and that the client was as delighted as we were.
